Program Description:
The mission of these programs is to prepare students, through the use of comprehensive courses of instruction and “hands on” training, for employment in the field of land surveying and construction staking, The course also provides an introduction to civil computer aided drafting and construction safety/materials inspection. We provide an effective training program that meets the employment needs of the construction, land surveying, and civil engineering industry. The program will train students in the proper use of Surveying instruments, total stations, data collectors with, Carlson SurvCE and TDS software, AutoCAD Civil 2015 and Carlson Survey, Civil and Construction software. The program provides a safe learning environment emphasizing good safety practices. We Issue a 10-hour construction safety OSHA card, We have expand the program to include Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS).
